Where It All Began
Corporate Security Group is a family-owned and locally operated security company with deep roots in the Bundaberg community. Established in 1994, the company was built on a strong foundation of security industry experience, continuing a family legacy that stretches back generations. The business has earned a reputation for professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to protecting people, property, and businesses across the Wide Bay region.
Beginning in Bundaberg, Corporate Security Group focused on delivering high-quality security services to local businesses, licensed venues, government facilities, construction sites, and community organisations. Through a combination of experienced personnel, responsive customer service, and a strong understanding of local security challenges, the company steadily established itself as a trusted provider within the region.
Growing Across the Region
As demand for professional security services increased throughout the Wide Bay Burnett, the company identified opportunities to expand beyond Bundaberg. A significant milestone in this growth strategy was the acquisition of a small security company in Maryborough — enabling Corporate Security Group to establish a stronger presence in the Fraser Coast area, bringing together local knowledge, experienced security personnel, and an expanded range of services under a single trusted brand.
The Maryborough acquisition provided a platform for continued regional growth. By integrating resources, technology, and operational expertise, Corporate Security Group was able to improve service coverage and provide a more comprehensive security offering to clients throughout the region. Following its successful establishment in Maryborough, the company continued to expand into Hervey Bay and surrounding communities.
Where We Are Now
From our beginnings in Bundaberg and our expansion into Maryborough and the Fraser Coast, Corporate Security Group has continued to grow into one of the Wide Bay–Burnett region's leading locally owned security providers.
Today, we proudly employ more than 40 highly trained and licensed security professionals who deliver a wide range of security services across Queensland. Our continued growth has been driven by a commitment to exceptional service, strong client relationships, and our ability to adapt to the changing security needs of businesses, government organisations, event operators, and local communities throughout the region.
What began as a local Bundaberg security operation has evolved into a regional security network servicing clients across the Wide Bay–Burnett and beyond. In recent years, we have successfully expanded our operational footprint south into Gympie and west as far as Moura, providing security solutions to an increasingly diverse range of industries and locations.
